Shipping & Returns

Christmas Shipping

Order up until 19th December on 3-day delivery for guaranteed Christmas delivery and 22nd December on next day shipping for guaranteed Christmas delivery. 

UK Shipping

All Swegways are shipped from our head office in the UK. Your item will usually be dispatched 1-2 working days after placing your order but at very busy periods this can be up to 5 working days. Some items are dispatched same day. If you have not received your product dispatch email before 7 days, please give us a call or drop us an email: customerservice@ukswegways.com.

Same day courier services and sunday delivery also available by request. Please call our customer services to discuss your requirements and for a quick quote. 

If you cannot wait for your item to be shipped our or require your Swegway immediately, please do pop into our store in Sheffield where you can purchase and take away your Swegway on the day as well as having plenty of fun learning to ride it with our trained demonstration staff.

We offer a next day delivery service for an additional fee. 

We use UPS or DPD fully insured signed for. All deliveries are fully trackable and in some cases give a 1 hour delivery time slot.

Please note some postcodes will take 48 hours on a next day service. This can include Northern Island, the Shetland islands and others. If in doubt please call us. 

Warranty

If the board comes back to us reported faulty and and it just needs recalibrating you will be liable for postage both ways at least but not limited to £19.98.

All Swegways purchased directly from our website will fall under our full warranty policy. We offer 12 month warranty as standard and full refunds or replacement special delivery if your item arrives unusable or defective. Warranty covers internal computerised part of the board, namely the microchips/motherboard. Gyroscopes (sensors) and battery are not covered.

If you have a problem with your Swegway we will arrange collection and free repair or replacement if the damage is caused by defective equipment. We will cover collection and delivery costs and all repair costs if your Swegway fails mechanically.

All faults must be reported within 48 hours of receipt of product for an exchange for new or full refund. Any faults reported after 48 hours of delivery confirmation will need to be inspected by our technicians before a decision on warranty claim can be made. This can take up to 10 working days. 

NOTE: WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER WATER OR CRASH DAMAGE. If the exterior of your Swegway is damaged or the internal seals are broken or water damaged your warranty is void. We can quickly and easily see where a Swegway has been crashed due to scratches on the body of the board. Crash or accidental damage isn't covered under warranty repairs. You will be liable to pay the shipping costs to return your Swegway back to us if the damage isn't covered under warranty. This total cost is £17.98. We will quote for repair costs once our technicians have conducted diagnostics on your board.

Returns

It is your responsibility to ensure the product is packaged in a way to avoid damage in transit. Should we receive the product back with insufficient packaging, photographic documentation will be produced and remain on file should any damage arise in any future claims related to damage in transit. 

For returns and refunds, just return your Swegway to us up to 14 days after delivery has been confirmed. As long as your Swegway is unused, and in the original condition you may return your Swegway to us for an exchange or full refund within 14 days of receipt. 

Please note, we will arrange collection of your Swegway on a day of your choice. If you miss the first collection it will be up to you to arrange to get the board back to our store.

For returns due to unwanted items you the customer will be liable to pay shipping fees of £19.98.

You have the right to cancel free of charge until your item is in dispatch. If you wish to cancel once your order is in dispatch you will be liable for the shipping fee.

As a responsible retailer and to provide our customers with added peice of mind in relation to our commitment to customer service we are a member of The Retail Ombudsman. The Retail Ombudsman is authorized by Government to provide alternative dispute resolution services. The service is free for consumers to use and as a member we follow a strict Code of Conduct, which means that we are bound by their decisions.
